No. There is no Instagram login on WhoUnfollowed. You upload your own data export, a ZIP file Instagram emails to you on request. Your password is never involved.
On the Free plan, nowhere. The ZIP is read by JavaScript inside your browser tab and discarded when you close the page. On Pro, snapshots you choose to save are stored encrypted in our cloud so you can compare them across devices.
No. The data export is a feature Instagram offers to comply with GDPR. You're using their official tool, not scraping their API or violating any terms.
No notification is sent either way. Instagram doesn't tell someone they've been unfollowed, and it doesn't tell you when someone unfollows you. The only way to actually know is to compare your follower list before and after, which is what this tool is for.
