No. Threads does not send a notification, alert, or any in-app signal when someone unfollows you. It works the same way in reverse: if you unfollow someone, they aren't told either. The only way anyone finds out is by noticing the change themselves, either by remembering who used to follow them or by checking their list.
What Threads Does Notify You About
New followers, likes, replies, reposts, and mentions all trigger a notification. Threads wants you to see growth and engagement in real time, and that shows up in the Activity tab as it happens.
What Threads Stays Silent About

It is your own outbound action history, not a log of what happened to your followers, the identical gap Instagram's export has.
